AVSEDplus
Specialist support for people living with dementia.
AVSEDplus is our dementia activity service. It offers a safe, welcoming space for people with dementia and memory loss, with food, company and activity through the day, and real respite for families and carers.
What it is
A full day, built around the person.
AVSEDplus sits between our community groups and full day care. Each day brings social, physical and cognitive activity, good food and a friendly team who know how to support people living with dementia. It brings meaningful activity and company, and gives carers a proper break.
- Every Tuesday and Thursday, with Friday coming in October
- Five hours of support and activity, 10.30 to 3.30
- Breakfast, lunch and snacks included
- Social, physical and cognitive activities through the day
- £60 a day, with financial support sometimes available
